Whatever you're looking for, buying in bulk helps you access food that you can trust. Because you're working directly with a farmer, you can trust that it's raised according to your ethical standards.

And because you're buying at a wholesale price, you can access premium cuts, staples, and "nose to tail" items like oxtail and liver at a price that works with your budget.

Our customers also tell us that buying in bulk often makes meal planning easier. Simply shop from your freezer! This will help you become more inventive and innovative in the kitchen as you learn to make new cuts and experiment with what you like best.

How does it work?

Whole and half animals are purchased by the hanging weight. Hanging weight is the weight taken immediately after slaughter, but before final trim.

Before your slaughter date, we'll reach out to go over a customized cut sheet. Here, you'll learn your options and pick exactly how you'd like to receive your beef.

When it's ready, we'll deliver your frozen meat to you if you're in our delivery zone.

A whole beef is about 350 lbs., with the following breakdown:

  • Steaks: ~60lbs.
  • Roasts/ribs: ~110lbs
  • Ground beef, stew, cubed: ~180lbs
