Plan for 1 cubic foot of freezer space for every 15 lbs. of meat. Here's are estimates for what to plan for:

Yes, we will deliver your animal via your normal delivery option. Delivery is included in the price.

Your meat will already be frozen when we deliver it to you.

You'll pay an initial deposit online when you place your pre-order. The remaining amount is due by cash or check when you receive your animal.

Hanging weight is the weight immediately taken after slaughter, but before final trim. The head, skin, and feet are removed.
For a whole beef, the average hanging weight is 450 lbs. That will yield about 300 lbs. of take-home meat.
For a 1/2 beef, the average hanging weight is 225 lbs. From that, you can expect 175 lbs. of take-home meat.
For a whole hog, the average hanging weight is 250 lbs. That will yield about 175 lbs. of take-home meat.
For a 1/2 hog, the average hanging weight is 125 lbs. From that, you can expect 90 lbs. of take-home meat.
For a whole lamb, the average hanging weight is 90 lbs. That will yield about 30-40 lbs. of take-home meat.

You'll pay an initial deposit that will be deducted from your final payment. The price includes the animal, all processing fees, and home delivery of the product if you are in our delivery zone.
