Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Hearts
Want to make eating organs a little easier? Wrap them in bacon! This recipe is filled with good-for-you, healthy fats, and extra nutrition from eating chicken hearts. Plus, it's quick - you'll get these on the table in under 30 minutes.

Directions

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb. chicken hearts 
  • 1 lb. bacon, strips cut into halves or thirds 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder
  • Pepper, to taste 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. 
  2. Trip off the tops off the chicken hearts. 
  3. Mix together the seasoning (salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper) in a bowl. Add chicken hearts and mix well to coat evenly. 
  4. Wrap chicken hearts in bacon strips (cut either into halves or thirds) and place on baking sheet. 
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy. Transfer to a plate and enjoy!
