Roasted Chicken Wings
These chicken wings couldn't be easier. Just toss with your favorite spices, roast on a sheet pan, and serve. Add your favorite vegetables to the sheet pan (like broccoli, potatoes, or onions) to make it a complete meal. And an added bonus? The bones from chicken wings make an excellent bone broth.

My favorite recipes are ones that can be easily customized. I've provided the spices my family loves below, but feel free to customize with the flavors that you like.

You can cook wings as they are (with the tips on). In fact, I often prefer doing this, because I use the bones to make broth, and the tips add the additional collagen I like in my bone broth.

However, if you want to remove the tips and separate the drums from the flats, you can do so easily with a knife. This video will help you identify where to cut in between the bones.

Ingredients

  • 2 packs chicken wings (less if you're cooking for 1-3 people)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Toss the chicken wings in a large bowl with the spices. (If you're separating the drums and flats, do that first before tossing with the spices.)
  3. Spread the wings on a sheet pan, adding extra spices as needed. (Want to make this a one-sheet pan dinner? Add chopped vegetables to the pan, drizzling them with oil, salt, pepper, and any other spices.)
  4. Cook for 25-30 minutes, or until skin is browned and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F.
