Skyr

Nordic-style yogurt that's packed with protein. 1 quart containers.

A rich, nordic-style soft cheese that's comparable to yogurt. It's high-protein and excellent served with fresh fruit. Or, blend with fruit and drink like kefir.

You've asked for a high-quality, nourishing, local cheese that's the perfect complement to your pasture-raised and grass-fed dishes. And we can't think of a better complement than Celebrity Dairy goat cheese.

Skyr is a Nordic-style soft cheese that's similar in taste and texture to yogurt. But it packs a big nutritional punch: about 17g of protein per serving. That makes it a perfect high-quality snack, especially if you're looking for high-protein options.

Enjoy as you would yogurt, with fresh fruit and granola. Or, treat it like kefir: blend the skyr with frozen fruit to create a delicious, nutrient-dense drink for breakfast or a snack.

Like all of our partner farms, Celebrity Dairy meets our standard for sustainable, pasture-raised, and humane farming.

Making pure chevré is a simple and slow process that follows time-honored French farmstead techniques. Pasteurized milk is treated with yogurt cultures to develop into curds and whey.

Alpine and Saanen goats spend their days foraging on pastures and the woods, where goats are happiest, and return to the barn twice a day for milking, where they also receive supplemental feed to support their nutritional needs as nursing mothers.

Celebrity Dairy is also a long-standing, viable farm in the Chatham County community. Established in 1987, when the original owners discovered they could tolerate goat milk despite their intolerance for cows' milk, the cheese has been tested and perfected for years to become the highest-quality goat cheese in the area.

Goat cheese is a good source of protein and healthy dietary fats, containing about 6 grams of protein and 8 grams of fat in a 1 oz serving. It's also a great source of vitamins A and B, and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, copper, iron, selenium, and magnesium.
Every Celebrity Dairy product comes with a best-buy date. Cheese is perishable and lasts a few weeks or more if stored properly in the refrigerator.
