Chicken broth, anyone? A chicken frame (also known as a chicken back) is the carcass of a chicken. It's what's left after the breast, tender, thigh, drumstick, and wings are removed.
Chicken frames are perfect for making thick, gelatinous chicken bone broth at home. Add about 1lb of bones for every quart of water. Then, simmer for a 24-72 hours, until you get your desired consistency.
You can add a little apple cider vinegar in the beginning to extract extra minerals. And of course, you can add your favorite veggies and herbs for extra flavor and nutrition.
